Chantal Jura is a media relations coordinator working out of Toronto and is responsible for actively creating and managing positive relationships with broadcast, print and online media outlets. She helps to educate, promote and enhance the company's core offerings to the media. Working within both French and English vertical markets across Canada, she supports the development and execution of media plans and distribution lists and assists at trade shows and conferences. Before joining Marketwire in September of 2008, Chantal managed leads and coordinated strategic marketing plans and budgets based on industry segmentation for a private Investment bank in Chicago. For Avalon Capital Holdings, located in Los Angeles, she composed and compiled media correspondences and implemented B2C techniques for introducing sales concepts and the company's products to costumers. Chantal holds a bachelor’s degree in French Literature. She enjoys cooking, traveling and, most importantly, hockey. Chantal is an active participant in social media.
